I'm giving myself a Super Nerd Award for this one. George Nader's 1978 gay sci-fi novel CHROME is a favorite of mine (judge away, it's a great book). The 1970's covers for any edition though leave, uh, something to be desired...by which I mean they're just terrible. On so many levels. And I decided I couldn't stand my hardback edition having a lousy, generic stereotyped sci-fi dust jacket on it anymore. So I painted a new cover, created a completely new dust jacket, printed it out and re-skinned the book. Now I'm a happy Chrome fan.
